On November 15th, at the establishment and unveiling ceremony of the Medical Professional Committee of Shanghai Services Federation(SSF) held at China Financial Information Center, the Medical Professional Committee of SSF , Nantong Hospitals’ Association signed an agreement with Silk Road Cities Alliance, and joined in the functioning of the "Global Health Link".

Global Health Link（GHL）is jointly initiated by the Silk Road Cities Alliance, Global Silk Alliance Information Co., Ltd., Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, and China Reform Health Management and Services Group Co., Ltd. GHL is designed to connect parties involved in the global trade of medical products, to bridge information gaps between the supply and demand sides, break the bottleneck in global logistics, and provide authoritative interpretation of standards in different countries.
The GHL was officially launched at the China International Import Expo on November 7, 2020. More than 100 guests from more than 30 institutions, 16 countries attended the launching ceremony. Among those which participate in the platform are China drug Regulatory Research Association, China Rehabilitation Technology Transformation and Development Promotion Association, JD health, International Finance News, Guangdong New South Artemisia Annua pharmaceutical, Beijing Hotgen Biotechnology Co. Ltd., London medical Holding Co. Ltd., and Barbizon company from the Philippines. Envoys and senior diplomats from France, Italy, Malaysia, Georgia, Chile, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Argentina, Iran, Tajikistan, Pakistan, as well as representatives from customs, quality assurance and certification agencies and large international logistics companies witnessed the launching of the GHL.
Shanghai Medical Professional Committee of SSF is a non-governmental organization composed of medical institutions, entities from greater health industry, non-governmental organizations for medical services, enterprises and experts on medical technology in Shanghai. 47 municipal hospitals in Shanghai, including Ruijin Hospital and Zhongshan Hospital have become the initial members of the Committee. Other members include 49 medical and health enterprises and non-governmental medical institutions: Wanda Information, ETO network, Ping An Health, Lianying, Hefu (China), Fosun Medical, Guochuang Pharmaceutical, Danaher (Shanghai), Dexin Medical Co., Ltd.
Fan Jia, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of Zhongshan Hospital, Ning Guang, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Ruijin Hospital; Huang Hefeng, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor of International Peace Maternal and Children Health Care Hospital, are honorary directors of Shanghai Medical Professional Committee of SSF. Professor Zhu Tongyu, Deputy Director of Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center and Director of Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, is serving as the Director of the Professional Committee.
Nantong Hospitals' Association has 14 branches and has won the title of "Excellent Municipal Hospitals’ Association of Jiangsu Province" for several times. Since its establishment, the association has been dedicated itself to the work of enhancing social welfare with the help of medical organizations. For years, it has managed to make outstanding achievements in improving its management mode and capacity-building with the goal of providing high quality hospital services to the public.
Within only one week after its launching ceremony, the "Global Health Link" has seen two professional institutions hopping on-board, which projects a bright future for the newborn platform.
