It is in this beautiful season of autumn that we celebrate the 100-days countdown to Beijing Winter Olympics. On October 25, the Awarding Ceremony of the 4th Silk Road & Young Dream (SRYD), jointly hosted by China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development, Silk Road Cities Alliance, Beijing Belt and Road Cooperative Community, and Beijing Great Wall International Cultural Exchange Promotion Association, Gather in Beijing,Get to the Sky, was held in Beijing.
Wu Weishan, member of the Standing Committee of CPPCC and director of the National Art Museum of China; Li Xikui, vice president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries; Archil Kalandia, Georgian Ambassador to China; Marie Roland Alain Wong Yen Cheong, Mauritian Ambassador to China; Simon Pierre Adovelande, Benin Ambassador to China; Dumitru Braghis, Moldovan Ambassador to China, and diplomatic envoys from 14 countries and youth representatives from 23 countries and other outstanding representatives from all walks of life actively participated online and offline to express their expectation and support for the Beijing Winter Olympics.

His Excellency Mr. Dumitru Braghis, Moldovan Ambassador to China, said that the Olympic Games, where many great moments that changed the world have taken place, are gathering the best athletes in the world. It is not only a sports event, but also plays an important role in terms of culture. He believes that the 2022 Winter Olympics will be as wonderful as the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, bringing together people from all over the world and deepening sports exchanges.

Beijing Winter Olympics, in pursuit of a green, open, integrated and shared future, will light up the dreams of young people and make the world know each other better. Youth representatives from China, South Korea, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Tanzania and other countries jointly read out the initiative of Beijing Winter Olympics for a Better Future, calling on young people from all over the world to carry forward the Olympic spirit of "faster, higher, stronger - together" to meet the challenges of today's society, and to ignite the hope of the Olympic with youth power.

The theme of the 4th SRYD is Green Development and Winter Olympics. Mr. Li Xikui, vice president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers, mentioning that despite the severe impact of the epidemic, the organizers insisted on caring for the youth dreams, and successfully organized more than 500 promising young people from 30 countries to actively participate in five exchange activities, including speech, music, photography, sand painting and start-up competitions, and essay writing competition for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Pakistan. Next year, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the SRYD, a series of activities themed by "Flying Youth, Cultural Creativity" will be held, expecting more friends to join us.
